1.1
POSITION: PROCUREMENT
AND SUPPLIES OFFICER GRADE I (2 POST)
a)
Entry
Qualifications:
The following are
qualifications for aspired candidates:-
·
Bachelor Degree in Procurement and Supplies
Management, Materials Management, Logistics Management or equivalent
qualifications from recognized institutions
·
Must have a Procurement and Supplies
Professional (CPSP) ) Certificate or its equivalent
·
Computer literate
·
Must have at least three (3) years working
experience of two years in a similar field.
·
Candidates with
relevant airline experience will be given preference.
·
Candidates Must have a
valid Practicing License issued by PSPTB
b)
Responsibilities:
·
To ensure contracts are
implemented as per their terms and conditions.
·
To develop appropriate systems, procedures and guidelines for
the procurement function.
·
To advise on best procurement strategies in collaboration with
user department.
·
To evaluate vendor performance and advice accordingly.
·
To maintain an up-to-date filing system on pricing and vendors to
ensure immediate and accurate access to information.
·
To prepare bid documents and Tender advertisements.
·
To coordinate preparation of technical specifications, statement
of requirements and terms of reference.
·
To post Annual Procurement Plan information to the Public
Procurement Regulatory Authority Database.
·
To perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by
Supervisor.
1.2
POSITION:ASSISTANT
PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER(4 POSTS)
a) Entry Qualifications:
The following are qualifications for aspired candidates:-

Must have a Diploma in
Procurement and Logistics/Materials management or its equivalent from
recognised institution.
·
Must have at lleast three
(3) years working experience
·
will be an added advantage
·
Computer
Literate.
b)
Responsibilities:
·
To maintain a location index system in the
store
·
To analyse user department consumption patterns
and predicting future trends
·
To manager an archive records of receipt and
issuance of goods and services
·
To maintain an updated inventory of goods,
supplies and materials
·
To manager plans for stock levels
·
To maintain records for each local purchase
order.
·
Perform any other duty may be assigned by the
supervisor.
·
Must be registered with PSPTB
1.3
POSITION: ACCOUNTANT GRADE 1 (2 POSTS)
a) Entry Qualifications:
The following are qualifications for
aspired candidates:-
·
Must have
Bachelor Degree in Accounting ,
Finance, Banking or its equivalent from
reorganized academic institutions
·
Must have
Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA
or equivalent)
·
Must have at
least 2 years working experience in a competitive business environment
·
Must be
Computer literate
·
Knowledge in
accounting information system, experience in inventory accounting and relevant
airline experience will be an added advantage
b)
Responsibilities
·
Record inventories ( spare parts ) in accounting
system
·
Reclassify
inventories to match with company chart of accounts
·
Reconcile
accounting records against store physical inventories
·
Reconcile
accounting records against procurement records
·
Undergo monthly
inventories stock taking, reconciliation and valuation
·
Advise Finance
manager on provision of obsolete stocks and pass appropriate adjustments
·
Analyze business
risks associated in inventory management and proposed remedial actions
to financial manager
·
Support
internal and external auditing on inventory
accounting
·
Comply with
financial regulations and accounting standard in reporting, classifying, and
disclosure of inventory accounting
·
Perform
any other duty may be assigned by the supervisor.
1.4
LEGAL OFFICER –
LITIGATION (1 POST)
a) Entry Qualifications:
The following are
qualifications for aspired candidates:-
·
Must have a Bachelor Degree of Law from the
recognized University
·
Must be registered as an Advocate of the High
Court and Subordinate Courts
·
Must have relevant working experience of at
least one (1) year
·
Candidates with relevant airline experience
will be given preference.
b) Duties and Responsibilities:
·
To assist on claim liability , advisability of
prosecuting or defending lawsuits or
legal right and obligations
·
To interpret laws, ruling and regulation for
various issues
·
To arrange availability of witness, gather
evidence and analysethe probable outcome of case using knowledge of legal
precedents;
·
To evaluate findings and develop strategies and
arguments in preparation for presentation of cases
·
To formulate defense and initiate legal action
by collecting information to ascertain the fact of the case
·
To negotiate settlement of civil dispute
·
To prepare legal briefs and opinion and file
appeals/revisions in court.
·
To keep records of all transactions in respect
of both decided and ongoing cases
·
To collect relevant information and or orders
from the respective court/tribunals
·
To perfume any other official duties as may be
assigned from time to time.
1.5
AIRCRAFT CLEANERS CUM
OFFICE ASSISTANTS (4 POSTS)
a) Entry Qualifications
The following are qualifications for
aspired candidates:-
·
Must have National Form IV or Form VI
Certificate with passes in English, Kiswahili
·
Must have a Basic Technician Certificate from
VETA or any recognized training institution
·
Basic Certificate in mechanics or other
technical related certificates will be an added advantage
b) Duties and Responsibilities
·
To handle general cleaning of line, hangar and
workshop
·
To clean Aircraft and aircraft components under
supervision
·
To assist in positioning working and safety
gears to facilitate maintenance activities.
·
Make photocopying and file flimsy letters
·
Open and close office doors and windows
·
Attend to visitor as regards to refreshment
·
Perform messengerial duties
·
Deal with maintenance and safety of office
equipment and reports any damage
·
To perfume any other official duties as may be
assigned from time to time.
1.6
DRIVER GRADE II ( 28 POSTS)
a)
Entry
Qualifications
The following are
qualifications for aspired candidates:-
·
Must have Form IV certificate with Class E or C1 driving License
·
Must have attended a Basic Driving Course from
VETA/National Institute of Transport or any recognized institution.
·
Must have a working experience of minimum of 1
year accident free.
·
Possession of Trade Test or a Basic Mechanics
Course will be an added advantage.
b)
Duties
and Responsibilities
·
To drive staff towards approved destinations in
accordance with traffic regulations.
·
To take
vehicles due for routine maintenance / repair to the appointed service agents.
·
To
undertake minor mechanical repairs.
·
To maintain log books and records all movement
as instructed.
·
To make pre-inspection to the assigned vehicles
prior travelling and report mechanical damages / defects.
·
To
verify safety and cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
·
To
verify that valid documents and permits are acquired prior commencement of any
journey.
·
Perform any other duty may be assigned by the
supervisor.

REMUNERATION:
Attractive
remuneration and Fringe Benefits as per ATCL Scales and Incentive Scheme.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Five (5) years contract (renewable) upon
successful performance
